*L.C. SMITH IDEAL GRADE 16 GAUGE.SN FWE193733. Cal. 16 ga. 28″ London steel bbls. 2-3/4″ chambers. Chokes imp cyl/mod. Full length raised matted rib with twin brass beads. Left tube marked “L.C. Smith Ideal Grade”, right tube is marked “Hunter Arms Co. Inc. M’f’r’s Fulton, NY., U.S.A.” Featherweight frame. Single selective trigger, automatic ejectors, non-automatic safety. Capped full pistol grip buttstock with 14-1/16″ LOP from rear position single trigger over serrated lined hard rubber buttplate. Buttstock checkered in 2-point pattern. Splinter forearm with roll type release checkered in 3-point pattern with ebony tip. Receiver engraved in standard Ideal floral pattern with zig zag border on lockplates. WEIGHT: 7lbs. 3oz. CONDITION: Excellent. Bbls retain 80-85% toned original blued finish. Buttstock and forearm show honest hunting wear with checkering starting to thin, minute grain separation behind right lock plate and minor crack in ebony forend tip otherwise stocks are sound. Receiver retains 30-40% original case color mostly on lockplates and behind bbl bolsters. Trigger guard and forearm iron retain about 1/2 of their original blue finish.
