SN 470073. Cal. 28 ga. 28″ fluid steel bbls. 2-3/4″ chambers. Choked improved cylinder/modified. Full length matted rib with “Certifiable pre-ban elephant ivory” front bead. Water table marked “Ithaca Classic Doubles made in Italy” and retailer marked “Taylor and Co. Winchester VA. Inc.” Double triggers, automatic ejectors, non-automatic safety. Straight grip stock is checkered in dbl Fleur-de-lis pattern with 15-3/4″ LOP over dark brown leather covered pad. Semi-beavertail forearm with Deeley release, checkered in 3-point pattern with ebony tip. Receiver is tastefully engraved with gold duck on left side, gold pheasant on right, gold woodcock on bottom, surrounded by floral pattern and geometric design engraving, which is all very well executed.
