SN 958. Cal. 44/65. Val Forgette, Jr. was a great Confederate collector and through his business of Navy Arms, Ridgefield, NJ had exception quality replicas made in Italy. This was limited to 1000 of this “Cavalry” model with “Col LeMat” inscribed on top barrel flat. CONDITION: Excellent, like new in box, with about 100% bright finish, loading instructions and label stating SN 958 which is also engraved on bottom of frame, in original gold embossed box. 49960-9 JS (600-800) – Lot 1484
