LOT OF THREE MARLIN XX STANDARD SPUR TRIGGER REVOLVERS W/WEXELL & DEGRESS GRIPS.SN 104. Cal. 22 RF. All three revolvers are nearly identically engraved with usual markings. 1) SN 104. Cal 22 Short. Model 1873. Nickel finish with 3″ keyhole shape bbl, 7-shot fluted cyl & mounted with Wexel & DeGress, cast metal grips. 2) SN 6. Cal 32 RF Short. Model 1875 Type I. Nickel finish with 3″ round ribbed bbl & 5-shot fluted cyl & mounted with Wexel & DeGress metal grips. 3) SN 5439. Cal 33 RF Long. Model 1875 Type II. Nickel finish with 3″ round ribbed bbl & 5-shot fluted cyl & mounted with Wexel & DeGress metal grips. PROVENANCE: The Dr. Robert G. Cox Estate Collection. CONDITION: 1) Very fine, all matching. Overall retains about 96-97% original nickel. Hammer will not hold at full cock. Grips show light wear, strong dark bore. 2) Extremely fine plus, all matching. Possibly unfired, grips are equally new. 3) Very fine to extremely fine, all matching. Overall retains virtually all of its original nickel. Mechanics are fine, grips are fine.
