1st quarter 20th century. Canada. Unusual portable scale in form similar to wheelbarrow with rectangular molded wood tray mounted within frame and connected to brass and iron balance scale, calibrated in pounds from 0 to 2000. Scale marked “Renfrew Scale Co.”, “Renfrew/PAT. 17th. OCT. 1911”. Frame with down-turned hand grips resting on frontal iron wheels and iron supports at rear. SIZE: 17-1/2″ h x 53″ l x 24″ w. CONDITION: Very good original condition on old painted surfaces, polychrome paint decorations remain intact with normal and expected wear. 49991-11 (500-1,000) – Lot 2583
