Late 18th century, American. The rectangular mirror plate within a carved molded gilt surround. The frame with scrolled crest centering a dish-shaped gilt carving. The figural pendant molding additional with scrolled ears. SIZE: 26″ x 15″ d. PROVENANCE: Estate of Siro R. Toffolon, of Old Lyme, CT. CONDITION: Mirror plate original with considerable foxing. Old polish surface. Normal and expected shrinkage cracks to veneers. All scrolled elements original and intact. Good overall. 49476-32 (400-600) – Lot 2527
