BEAVER TOP HAT AND GREEN LADIES CALASH BONNET WITH BOX.

1) 6-1/2″ h x 11-3/4″ dia stove pipe type top hat, interior is paper lined with stencil maker W. L. Nichols, Norwhich, Conn. 2) Collapsible green ladies bonnet in pram style having rattan ribs and green silk material, 14″ h x 13″ (open), late 18th century. 3) 14″ dia, 20th century hat box. SIZE: As noted above. PROVENANCE: Estate of Siro R. Toffolon, of Old Lyme, CT. CONDITION: 1) Hat has some wrinkling and collapsing in top 3″, worn fur. 2) Losses of silk at ribs, some repair, generally intact. 3) Damage to lid. 49476-127 (800-1,200) – Lot 2502
