GALLE VICTOR HUGO VASE.

Galle vase has amber cameo decoration of deeply cut trees running from foot to lip. Against an olive green background. Vase is further decorated with large cameo flying insect and insect on tree foliage as well as 2 falling leaves cut on interior of vase which are only visible when vase is back lit. Cameo decoration is set against a wheel-carved martele background. Vase appears to have red foil inclusion surrounding foot. Foot has cameo inscription “Les Arbres Se Parlent Tout Bas” which roughly translates to “If All the Trees Speak Low” followed by a cameo signature “Victor Hugo”.
