TIFFANY STUDIOS KOI TABLE LAMP.

Tiffany Studios table lamp has cone shaped shade with leaded Koi done in mottled cream, salmon and yellow glass bodies and blue eyes. Each Koi is finished with acid etched bronze overlay on fins. Koi are set against a background of heavily rippled translucent blue and green striated glass. Shade is complete with original acid etched heat cap. Signed on inside rim “Tiffany Studios New York”. Shade rests on a bronze pumpkin base with ribbed sides leading to the 5 arm spider. Base has original font with 3 socket conversion stem, font has not been drilled. Finished in deep brown patina. Signed on underside of font with applied round tag “Tiffany Studios New York 21218/16″ along with The Tiffany Glass & Decorating Company logo. SIZE: Shade 16″ dia. Lamp 19-1/2” t. PROVENANCE: Est-ouest Auction; Japan, Oct 30 and 31, 1991. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent with few tight hairlines in background glass, 2 Koi fins have tight hairlines, there are no hairlines in fish bodies.
