*RARE WINCHESTER MODEL 12 28 GA PIGEON GRADE PUMP.

SN 1676689. Cal. 28 GA. 2-3/4″ chamber. 23″ bbl with full ventilated rib with steel front and mid bead and Cutts Compensator. Capped full pistol grip buttstock with 13-15/16″ LOP over Winchester Repeating Arms Co. monogrammed and checkered butt. Buttstock checkered in 2-point pattern. Plain steel receiver with “Pigeon” and SN engraved on bottom of mag tube. Forearm checkered in fancy diamond pattern with mullered border. Buttstock and forearm are high grade American walnut. Weight: 7 lb 8 oz. CONDITION: Excellent overall. Bbl retains 80-85% orig blue with light handling marks and minor staining. Action retains 85-90% orig blue. Buttstock and forend retain 90-95% of what appears to be their orig varnish, though could be an old refinish. Buttstock and forend have a couple of flakes in finish, particularly on butt near buttplate. Buttplate appears to have been waxed and checkering pattern appears a chalky white.
