*CASED JOHN POWELL 12 GAUGE GAME GUN.

SN 26036. Cal. 12 GA. 28″ bbls, 2-7/8″ chambers. Choked: MOD/FULL. Full length plain steel rib with brass front bead, marked “John Powell. Gun Maker, Reigate”. Lightly scroll engraved at breech end and marked in gold “2”. Double triggers (front trigger is articulated), automatic ejectors, automatic safety. 15-7/8″ LOP over 1-1/2″ black leather covered pad. Buttstock is checkered in two point pattern with tear drops behind lock plates. Splinter forearm with Curtis push button release checkered in three point pattern, tip is scroll engraved with gold inlaid “2” and push button with tiny floral bust. Receiver is beautifully scroll and game scene engraved signed “Casbard” on both right and left lock plates. Left side with two woodcock, right side with three quail in game scene surrounded by light scroll, bottom of frame near full coverage scroll engraving with stag in game scene on bottom. Trigger guard lightly scroll engraved with setter on bow. Top lever with gold inlaid “2”. WEIGHT: 7 lbs. 4 oz. CONDITION: Excellent, bbls retain 95-97% blued finish. Receiver coin finished and is excellent. Forearm, trigger guard and top lever retain most of their factory blued finish. Buttstock and forearm are excellent with a couple light handling marks.
