SN 175. Cal. 12 ga. 33″ Ported bbl is fitted with high vent rib. Coin finished action is engraved with exceptionally well cut varying sized scroll and rose bouquets surrounding gold inlaid bird scenes by Greco. Four gold inlaid ducks are settling into marsh on left side, and four quail are flushing and flying on right. Engravers signature is under rear duck scene. Beautiful flame figured American walnut stocks have fancy pattern checkering and butt is fitted with KICKEEZ trap pad. Weight: 9 lbs 0 oz. LOP: 14-3/4″. PROVENANCE: The Collection of Robert Burg. CONDITION: Excellent, with evidence of little firing, with a few minor marks on wood and metal. Left side of action has some browning in background of scene (should clean).
