*TASTEFULLY APPOINTED CSMC WINCHESTER 21-5 .410 WITH CASE.SN W38244. Cal. .410 ga. 3″ Chambers. 28″ Bbls choked skeet and skeet. Vent rib have 1″ triangles of scroll engraving and inlaid gold lines at breech ends. Slim flat side blued action has water table deeply milled to reduce weight. Action is fitted with single selective gold-plated trigger, and is engraved in 21-5 style with tastefully added gold wire inlaid borders. Wonderfully flame figured American walnut straight grip buttstock measures 14-3/8″ over checkered wood butt, and is “carved” in 21-B style. Matching beavertail braced forend has inset contrasting wood tip. Bore diameter at muzzles: left -.394, right -.404. Drop at heel: 2-1/4″, drop at comb: 1-1/4″. Weight: 7 lbs 8 oz. LOP: 14-3/8″. Tan leather makers case is lined in burgundy cloth. CSMC gold embossed black leather label is in lid. Case contains 2-pc gold-plated brass and rosewood cleaning rod with mop, jag, and brush in black leather case, gold-plated square oil bottle, and snap caps. PROVENANCE: Accompanied by Connecticut Shotgun Letter dated January 12, 2015 identifying this gun as a Model 21-5 with all features as noted and replacement cost listed at $26,000.00. CONDITION: Excellent, essentially as new, with only a few light handling marks on wood and metal, with a thumbprint in lacquer on left side of action, and a small area on left comb where a small ding in stock was repaired. Mechanically crisp, appears nearly unfired. Case is excellent with a few marks, and a smudge or two.
