LOT OF 9 MECHANICAL BLACK FACED BUST BANKS.

Lot includes a scarce black character bank marked “Uncle Tom” with extending tin tongue and rolling eyes, also a similar bank without Uncle Tom markings. Seven remaining banks are all variations of the “Jolly N__” mechanical bank, right arm raises to drop penny in mouth as eyes roll; variations include aluminum casting, male & female figures, and a more modern casting without “N__” markings. SIZE: Largest is 7″ t. CONDITION: Paint on banks averages good to good plus. 48820-16 (1,200-1,500) – Lot 2137
