LARGE CONTEMPORARY LEADED GLASS POPPY LAMP.

Large leaded glass lamp by Somers Stained Glass has orange and red poppies with drapery glass petals and mottled green glass leaves surrounding the flowers all against an amber and yellow striated background. Shade is signed on the interior lip with applied brass tag “Original Somers Stained Glass Deer Park N.Y.” and artist’s signed on another applied brass tag “John Masotti 2015”. Shade rests on a massive cast metal base with round platform resting on three ball feet with beaded trim. Body of the base has three curving legs ending in lions paws with a bulbous artichoke center with stem leading to three socket cluster. Shade is topped with heat cap. Base is finished in dark brown.
