PAIRPOINT REVERSE PAINTED SCENIC TABLE LAMP.

Pairpoint reverse painted table lamp has a Carlisle shade which is decorated with a country scene of birch trees in the foreground on the shores of a babbling brook with forest and mountains in the background. Reverse side of the shade shows birch trees at a lakes edge with a sailboat on the lake. Both scenes are set against a sky of swirling stylized clouds. Shade is signed on the interior edge “Pairpoint Corp’n” and dated but date is unreadable. Shade rests on a Pairpoint base with squared foot and vertical columns on the bulbous body leading to a two socket cluster. Base appears to have been a silvered finish but has worn and darkened. Base is signed on the underside “Pairpoint” along with the Pairpoint logo and numbered. SIZE: Shade 15″ dia. Lamp 20-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent. Base is very good except for the worn finish. Rewired with appropriate cloth cord. 48957-4 (1,500-2,000) – Lot 1650
