Pair of R. Lalique architectural plaques entitled “Fruits” have deeply impressed design of grapes and oranges with stylized leaves in a heavy glass plaque. Impressed design is finished in yellow patination and each plaque is housed in a contemporary mahogany frame. Unsigned. A similar example is pictured in the book R. Lalique Catalogue Raisonne by Felix Marcilihac, Page 906. SIZE: Plaques are approx 14″ sq, 16-3/4″ including frame. CONDITION: There is a chip and a shell shaped flake near the corner of one plaque, mostly concealed by the frame. Otherwise very good to excellent. 5-69495 (6,000-8,000) – Lot 3148
