LOT OF 3 NEW YORK CITY BREWING COMPANY CALENDARS.

1) George Ehret “Hell Gate Brewery” 1918 Calendar, which was located from 91st to 94th Sts. between 2nd & 3rd Aves. Wonderful aerial factory scene with busy streetscape filled with horse drawn beer delivery wagons, motor cars and an elevated railway. Calendar appears to have a complete date pad. 2) Bernheimer & Schwartz Pilsener Brewing Company 1912 calendar. Panoramic aerial factory view of their massive brewery operations which were located in the borough of Manhattan from 127th to 129th Sts & Amsterdam Ave. Detailed streetscape with horse drawn beer delivery wagons, pedestrians and early motor cars. This example is without its original date pad. 3) Lion Brewery of New York City 1917 calendar. Brewery was located on Columbus Ave. between 107th – 108th Streets just west of Central Park. Panoramic factory aerial view which not only captures the busy streetscape of the day but also distant views across the city skyline extending to the Hudson River and beyond. SIZE: 1) Image: 20-1/2″ w x 27″ h. 2) Image: 21″ w x 29-1/8″ h. 3) Image: 21″ w x 29″ h. PROVENANCE: The Collection of Richard J. Miller. CONDITION: 1) Near excellent; has a crease which breaks the paper surface extending from the top left corner of the date pad to the left margin. 2) Very good to excellent; has some flattened creasing and closed margin tears across the top and right edges; bottom right corner creases have had some color touch up. 3) Very good to excellent; minor nibbling to edges; slight fade to the reds; retains original top and bottom metal bands. 1-15012 (1,000-2,000) – Lot 1630
