LOT OF 6 CIRCUS POSTERS.1) Cole Bros. Circus poster with illustration of circus clown captioned “America’s Favorite Show”. 2) Sells Brothers’ circus poster titled “Jockey Races by Gentleman Riders”. Illustration of jockeys and their horses entering the final turn under the big top. Caption reads “These Races Like Those of Our Lady Jockeys are Genuine, are Given on Thorough-Breds of Noted Speed & Never Fail to Arouse the Spectators to the Utmost Pitch of Enthusiasm”. The Strobridge Litho. Co., Cin., N.Y., Lon., Circa 1893. 3) Scarce Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus poster titled “Nepal”. Captioned “The Maharajah’s Regal Reception For Frank Buck on his Triumphant Return From the Jungle” with Frank atop a bull elephant leading a cast of hundreds. SIZE: Images are: 1) 41-1/2″ w x 27″ h. 2) 30-1/4″ w x 40-1/2″ h. 3) Poster image 41-1/4″ w x 28″ h; Overall: 41-1/4″ w x 36-1/2″ h. 4) 40-7/8″ w x 27-1/2″ h. 5) 39″ w x 26″ h. 6) 41-1/2″ w x 27-1/2″ h. PROVENANCE: The Collection of Richard J. Miller. CONDITION: 1) Very good; a few tiny margin tears; 5″ tear at top left corner; subtle wear to fold lines; couple tiny scuffs top right corner. 2) Near excellent; only miniscule wear to horizontal fold line. 3) Near excellent; negligible fold lines. 4) Very good to excellent; light wear to fold lines; bottom margin has two vertical tears, one extends 2″ and the other 5″ which appears to have had cellophane tape reinforcement from the reverse. 5) Very good to excellent; close examination reveals some vertical ripples through Capt.
