Charming German automated clockwork display, circa 1950s depicting a standing, bearded gnome with glass eyes and felt clothing. He holds a basket of trinkets and when wound he nods his head to passersby. He is accompanied by two non-automated gnomes by the same maker to complete the trio. SIZE: Nodder is 23″ h. CONDITION: Generally very good. Nodder appears to have a nose rub that has since been touched up. Some clothes may be of a more recent vintage. 1-14923 (600-1,200) – Lot 1495
