LOT OF 2 MINIATURE CHINA DOLLS.

Included are a rare so-called “pegged wooden china” with pink luster shoulder head of young woman with long curls covering the ears on a fully articulated wooden body with pink luster forearms and white porcelain legs and red slippers. The fingers on the left hand are out stretched and those on the right are clenched with tiny hole in the top to accommodate holding an object. The other doll is a shoulder head on cloth body with china arms and legs, circa 1860, with elaborate hair style parted in the center with curls pulled back over the ears and pulled into a bun at the nape of the neck. Costume could be original. SIZE: 5-1/2″ t (14cm). CONDITION: Very good on both. 1-14883 (500-800) – Lot 1355
