DIMINUTIVE BRU JNE BEBE.

Bisque head and shoulder both incised “Bru Jne 1”. The swivel head has lovely threaded blue paperweight eyes, closed mouth with molded tongue tip between lips, pouty upper lip, and pierced earlobes. The body torso is leather with joints at the knee and wooden lower legs. The upper arms are leather with inserted bisque forearms with delicately modeled fingers. The curly blond mohair wig over cork pate may be original. The leather shoes are also original and impressed on the soles are “Bru Jne Paris 1”. The costume is an antique ribbed cotton jacket with a newer cotton and lace under-dress and an antique silk and lace bonnet. SIZE: 11″ t (28cm). CONDITION: Very good with slight unevenness to cheek color, a slight firing separation in the mold line below the left ear, and two missing finger tips on the right hand. 1-14841 (10,000-12,000) – Lot 1304
