LARGE BASSETT-LOWKE PRECURSOR LIVE STEAM ENGINE & TENDER.

English style 4-4-0 Bassett-Lowke engine with a 6-wheel tender containing water reservoir. Bassett-Lowke over the years manufactured some fabulous live steam trains in both complete and in kit form. Many of these trains from the 1920s-40s are still in use today by live steam enthusiasts. Not surprisingly, due to the fact that this is live steam, there is a fair amount of paint restoration to the engine. However, the tender appears to be in very nice original condition with minimal paint enhancement. SIZE: Overall length: 31″ and approximately 2-3/4″ outside flange measurement.
