Includes Flash Gordon and Tom Corbett. In the 1930s, Flash Gordon made space travel seem possible and was exceedingly popular, which then spurred the creation of various space toys. This particular version of the Flash Gordon rocket ship which featured Flash with his ray gun in an open cockpit firing at Ming the Merciless. Elaborately lithographed and overall condition is good plus. Tail fin replaced. Also includes the somewhat more elusive Tom Corbett rocket ship. Finely lithographed and in good to very good condition. Lacking tail fin. Both toys created an imaginative rocket sound and a flint in the rear would have caused sparks to fly out of the rear (spark feature no longer functioning). SIZE: 12″ l.
