PAIR OF COLLECTIBLE VINTAGE MOHAIR TEDDY BEARS.

Two fully jointed mohair bears to include a honey blond Teddy Hermann example and a white early 1950s era white Steiff bear. Hermann bear has a distinctive shorter mohair muzzle, felt paw pads, black facial and claw stitching, amber and black pupil eyes, and a working growler. He wears shorts and a shirt which may not be original to him. The Steiff bear has a stocky build, prominent and fuzzy muzzle, felt paw pads, brown facial and claw stitching, brown and black pupil eyes, and four claws on each hand. The Steiff bear retains his raised script button and traces of the US Zone tag as his Steiff IDs. SIZE: Standing: 16″ (40cm). Sitting: 12″ (30cm) and Standing: 19″ (48cm). Sitting: 15″ (38cm) respectively. CONDITION: Both with slight fading and light playwear, otherwise very good. 1-14308, 1-14311 (600-1,200) – Lot 3120o
