CIRCA 1940s ERA TINY STEIFF TEDDY BEAR WITH BUTTON.

This petite proportioned Teddy bear is 5-ways jointed and made from white mohair. He does not have any paw pads or claw stitching. His dime-sized face is detailed with black button eyes and a brown hand-embroidered nose and mouth. This is one of the smaller traditionally styled, 5-ways jointed Steiff bears this cataloger has ever seen. He would be an adorable companion to a vintage doll of the same era. Ted retains his short trailing “F” button and traces of his ear tag as his Steiff IDs. SIZE: Overall 3″ t (7cm). Sitting 2-1/2″ (6cm). PROVENANCE: Chuck & Cathy Steffes Collection.
