EARLY AMERICAN IDEAL BRAND TEDDY BEAR.

Teddy is made from golden mohair, stuffed with excelsior and is 5-ways jointed with chubby and rounded limbs. With a pronounced back hump and typical Ideal brand characteristics including a triangular shaped head and “V” shaped points on the felt foot pads. Face is detailed with black shoebutton eyes and a black hand-embroidered nose and mouth. SIZE: Overall 19″ t (48cm). Sitting 12″ t (31cm). PROVENANCE: Chuck & Cathy Steffes Collection. CONDITION: Felt paw pads are slightly dirty and pilled. Restoration to hand pads, nose stitching slightly loose. Otherwise very good. 1-13841 (2,000-4,000) – Lot 3083
