*BROWNING CUSTOM ENGRAVED BAR SEMI-AUTO RIFLE. Cal. 243. Fine Browning rifle with 22″ tapered round bbl, no front sight and rear sight dovetail plug. The receiver has been polished bright and engraved by M. Collins. Left side of the receiver has a large panel of a wonderful white tail buck in the pine woods surrounded by fine large floral patterns. The right side has approx. 50% coverage, floral and leaf patterns and the top has identical patterns around the Millett scope bases and top of the rings. Artist signed on the left side. The wood is highly figured, flame grained, center crotch cut walnut with 24 or 26 line checkering on the forearm and pistol grip stock with both ends of all the checkering having fine floral pattern carving with punch dot background. The stock and forearm have sling swivel studs and has an original black Browning recoil pad with a Lyman 3-9x scope in the mounts. Accompanied by a Browning brown leatherette, tan plush lined long case. SN 54136M70. CONDITION: Excellent.
