DERINGER FLINTLOCK KENTUCKY RIFLE. NSN. Cal. .54; 43-3/8″ oct. bbl. Reconverted using new lock. Bbl is marked “H. DERINGER /PHILADa” on top. Lock is marked “THOs CORDIS /WARRANTED”. Eagle head patchbox is operated by an extension of the toeplate. Rear sight is a replacement. Elevator is missing. Ramrod is also a replacement, possibly using the original worm. CONDITION: Has much light brown finish under a spotty varnish coating on the bbl, heavily pitted at the breech. Wood has some small repairs but is generally fine. 4-47202 FS702 (3,000-5,000)
