*WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 LEVER ACTION SADDLE RING CARBINE. Cal. 25-20. Standard carbine with 20″ round bbl, full magazine, square base front sight with carbine ladder rear sight. A staple and ring in the left side of the receiver, uncheckered wood, straight stock and carbine buttplate. SN 499596. CONDITION: Excellent. Bbl and magazine tube retain 96-97% strong bright original blue with two small spots on the right side of the bbl and minor muzzle wear. Receiver retains 93-95% thin original blue, dull on the top and bottom with edge wear and striation lines down both sides. Wood is sound with the forearm retaining about 60% original finish and the buttstock 40-50% dull finish with several small nicks and dings and a scratch or two with a couple of gouges in the left side of the buttstock.
