LOT OF SEVEN POWDER HORNS. 1) 7-1/2″ plain horn with light turned mouth. – One crack at mouth, otherwise good. 2) 8-1/4″ plain horn with oct. mouth and topper gate 2-1/4″ from mouth. – Two small cracks at mouth, otherwise very good. 3) 8-3/4″ plain horn with hand-carved mouth. – Scratches and insect damage, missing the carrying ring. 4) 7-7/8″ plain horn inscribed “1877/C.S.R.” in large letters on side. – Minor cracks, much scratching obscuring other possible scrimshaw. Heavy insect damage at base. 5) 7-1/4″ plain horn with turned mouth. Lightweight carrying ring installed at later date. – Good. 6) 8″ plain horn with heavy turned mouth. – Some scratching, generally good. 7) 6-1/4″ plain horn with light turned ring at mouth.
