*WINCHESTER EXPERIMENTAL MODEL 50 PRE-PRODUCTION SAMPLE TEST GUN. Cal. 20ga. Made in 1957, this shotgun is a deluxe model with 28″ plain full choke bbl, checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with composition buttplate. It has a standard alloy receiver with steel bbl and regular Winchester factory proofs. This shotgun comes complete with the Function and Test Report, which identifies this shotgun as having had standard proof loads and 100 rounds of standard ammunition. Then was subjected to a 10,000 round endurance test. The report stated that function improved after 5,000 rounds and further improved after 10,000 rounds. SN EXP10A. CONDITION: Excellent, plus. Metal retains 98-99% strong original finish with only a couple of minor marks on the receiver.
