FINE U.S. COLT SINGLE ACTION REVOLVER. SN 62767, all matching. Cal. .45LC. 7-1/2″ round bbl. “D. F. C” inspector marks on frame, bottom of grip, cylinder and bottom of the bbl. “CxM” cartouche dated 1880 on left side of grip “DFC” cartouche on right side of grip. The “US” marking on the left side of the frame is sharp. CONDITION: Traces of blue in protected places on backstrap and trigger guard, 25-30% on bbl, 35% on ejector rod housing. 50% case hardening on hammer. Grips are generally good but have a number of dents and gouges on the left side. Action is fine. 4-46361 FS40 (6,000-9,000)
