*BERETTA DOUBLE BARREL HAMMER SHOTGUN. Cal. 16ga. Modern monoblock dbl. bbl with 27-3/4″ bbls choked FULL/FULL, tapered matted rib with single bead, dbl. lump with Greener crossbolt and third fastener. Bbls are made of Krupp steel and so marked, dbl. triggers and extractors. Receiver and lock plates are case colored with about 50% coverage arabesque pattern engraving. Recoil shields have side clips and scalloped fences. Wood is modestly figured walnut with checkered splinter forearm and straight stock 14″ over a black composition buttplate. SN 106231. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. Bbls retain 97-98% bright original blue. Receiver and lock plates, 50-60% subtle case colors with the balance turned gray. Wood is sound and retains most of its original varnish with light use and handling nicks and bruises. Buttplate is missing a 1/2″ x 1/2″ chip at the heel. 4-46806 JR171 (800-1,200)
