TWO DECORATED TIN DOCUMENT BOXES. Mid 19th century, New England. The first in red paint, decorated overall with drapery borders. The second a green tole example decorated with stenciled floral sprays, each with dome lid. SIZE: 1) 5-1/4″ h x 9″ l x 4-1/2″ d. 2) 4-3/4″ h x 8″ l x 4″ d. CONDITION: Structurally good. The first with considerable paint loss and rippling of lid. The second with abraded areas on edges of box. 9-27544 (200-250)
