ROCOCO BRASS TWELVE-ARM CHANDELIER. Second quarter 20th century. The chandelier mounted on an iron shaft headed by six foliate S-scrolled candle arms, each with simulated gas control valve alternating with ribbon draped supports, joined to six C-scrolled inverted candle arms embellished with acanthus leaves, each fitted with frosted glass shade. All joined to a turned central brass standard with foliate pendant finial. SIZE: 94″ h x 21″ dia. CONDITION: Generally good, with original surfaces. Wired for electricity. Some soldering of connecting joints need strengthening. Overall very good. 9-27761 (2,000-3,000)
