REGENCY INLAID MAHOGANY PEMBROKE TABLE. Early 19th century, England. The rectangular top with bowed ends and molded edges, each with yew crossbanding, centering a large oval inlaid fan patera. The hinged demilune leaves crossbanded, all above a conforming frieze with a single drawer, fitted with lion’s mask brass handles. The drawer crossbanded and cockbeaded opposing a sham drawer raised on square tapered legs, string inlaid and fitted with brass capped casters. SIZE: 28-1/4″ h x 20-1/2″ w x 31″ d. PROVENANCE: From the private collection and estate of Robert Nugent, Glenridge, NJ. CONDITION: Structurally very good, with old surfaces, minimal and minor losses to inlays, and with slight even fading to top. 9-28202 (800-1,200)
