UNUSUAL SHERATON CHERRY TWO PART DINING TABLE. Circa 1840, possibly Connecticut. Comprising two sections, each with D-form top with blocked end centering the wide apron of figured mahogany with cockbeaded edges. Each section with rectangular hinged leaf at the rear, raised on five swelled reeded cylindrical ring turned legs. The fifth leg pivoting to support the leaf. SIZE: 30-1/2″ h x 78″ l overall x 47-1/2″ w. CONDITION: Repolished with mellow honey brown color. 9-27740 (1,000-1,500)
