SEVEN PIECE GROUP OF CHINESE EXPORT TEA WARES. 19th century, China. The set includes a teapot with strap handle, covered sugar with strap handle, helmet creamer with cane handle, two teacups, and two shallow bowls. The first two with strawberry knop finials. All gold gilt decorated overall with bands of fruit and floral vinery, each with an oval patera decorated with country landscape. SIZE: Teapot: 5-1/2″ h. Creamer: 4-3/4″ h. Bowl: 7-3/4″ dia. CONDITION: Sugar bowl with large shallow chip at mouth. Minor wear to gilding throughout and with some fleabites. Otherwise very good. 9-90428 (1,500-2,500)
