SHAKER CHEESE STRAINER IN ORIGINAL BLUE PAINT. 2nd half 19th century. This nice pine example with sloping sizes and overall dovetailed construction with pierced circular finger grips on opposing sides, the bottom comprised of rectangular slats in medium blue paint. SIZE: 9-1/2″ h x 23-1/2″ x 23-1/2″ sq. CONDITION: Strainer remains structurally intact with old, if not original, painted surfaces on exterior. Surfaces dry and crusty with moderate wear throughout commensurate with age and usage. Generally good. 9-28827 (275-375)
