FEDERAL INLAID MAHOGANY TILT TOP CANDLESTAND. Circa 1800, Coastal New England. The hinged rectangular top with canted corners and incised edges, with central satinwood panel with contrasting string inlaid borders joined to a well proportioned baluster turned standard joined to a tripod base of arched legs terminating in spade feet. SIZE: 30″ h x 26-1/2″ l x 19″ w. CONDITION: Structurally very good, professionally repolished. 9-29051 (900-1,200)
