RARE IRON REVOLVING ARM TABLETOP CANDLELIGHT. Second quarter 18th century, America. A nice forged iron example with double arms and riveted drip pans with crimped candle cups. The spring loaded frame adjusting on the central standard, fitted with pigtailed snuffer hangers. The shaft with medial turned divider, reverting to square form raised on a tripod base of tapering flattened legs with large penny feet. SIZE: 22-1/2″ h x 12″ l of candle arms. CONDITION: Very good untouched condition with age appropriate oxidation. Retains remnants of original black paint. 9-28511 (3,500-5,500)
