*MARLIN MODEL 94 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. SN 408947. Cal .25-20 M. Rnd special order length 26″ bbl with German silver blade Rocky Mountain front sight and Rocky Mountain rear right. Bbl marked “Marlin Firearms Co. NEW-HAVEN,CT.U.S.A./PAT’D OCT. 11, 1867. APRIL 2, 1889. AUG. 1. 1893” Full length magazine. Standard case colored receiver with mid range venier sight. Straight grip stock and forend of straight grained American walnut, S-cut steel buttplate. PROVENANCE: Richard Rohal Estate Collection. CONDITION: Very good. 95% bbl and mag tube blue with light wear and handling marks. Receiver has good case colors mixing with areas of very light surface corrosion. Buttplate has some blue mixing with patina and spots of light pitting. Sound stock and forend with very good finish and normal handling marks.
