*BERETTA SO5 SIDE LOCK EJECTOR SINGLE TRIGGER GAME GUN WITH CASE. SN 36190. Cal.12 Ga. 28″ Barrels with narrow flat matted ventilated rib are engraved “P. Beretta – Gardone V.T.” and “Made in Italy” on right breech area, and “12 Ga. 2-3/4 In – 28 Inches F/ M” on left. Left side of bbl is stamped “Bohler Antinit Steel”. Right side is stamped with importers name “Garcia Sporting Arms Corp., Teaneck, NJ”. Bottom of mono-block is stamped with proofs, SN, and “SO5”, as is bottom bbl. Coin finished detachable (2 screws with hidden hinge covers are on right lockplate) sidelock action features non-automatic safety (“S” inlaid in gold) and trigger selector in button. Action and lockplates are engraved with full coverage open shaded acanthus scroll with rose highlights. Engraver’s name “G. Bertasi” is on trigger plate. Bottom of action is engraved with “Brevetteato Italy” and with Beretta address. Top lever has pierced thumbpiece and gold imperial crown inlaid. Single trigger is gold-plated. Trigger guard has SN at tang. Dark, broadly marbled and stump figured European walnut full pistol grip buttstock measures 14-3/8″ over fully checkered butt. Stock features composition grip cap, and 26 LPI point pattern borderless checkering. One piece matching forend has Deeley release. Bore diameter: top -.731, bottom -.727. Bore restrictions: top -.042, bottom -.020. Wall thickness: top -.033, bottom -.035. Drop at heel: 2-5/16″, drop at comb: 1-7/16″. Weight: 7 lbs. 3.5 oz, LOP 14-3/16″. ABS Beretta foam-lined case has combination lock with Beretta logo on cover. CONDITION: Excellent. Bbls retain 90% original blue, with some discoloration toward breech on bottom bbl under forend. Action retains virtually all its coin finish. Top lever is silvered at thumbpiece. Blue of trigger guard is thinning at grip. Stocks are excellent with an area of light rubbing on left side of butt.
