*PERAZZI MX8 TRAP OVER AND UNDER. SN 38427. Cal. 12 ga. 31-7/8″ bbls, stepped matted vent rib, with fluorescent front sight, 2-3/4″ chambers, FULL/IMP.MOD chokes, vented mid ribs, ejectors and sgl trigger. Left side chamber area marked “ITHACA GUN COMPANY-ITHACA-NEW YORK/12 GA. 2-3/4″ CHAMBER-MADE IN ITALY” and gold “MX8”, right side “CUSTOM CRAFTED MANIFATTURA ARMI PERAZZI”. Frame has minimal border engraving, mounted with nicely figured walnut, custom stock with rollover cheek piece, checkered pistol grip, teardrop shape contrasting gripcap, Pachmayr recoil pad, fluted checkered beavertail forend. Bore diameter: top -.725, bottom -.724. Bore restrictions: top -.041, bottom -.025. Wall thickness: top -.032, bottom -.035. Drop at heel: 2-3/8″, drop at comb: 1-5/8″. Weight: 8lbs. 11oz. LOP 14-1/8″. Bottom flat of bbl is date coded “XX7” 1971. Left side of bbls are stamped “18.4” CONDITION: Fine. Bbls retain 95+ orig blue with some minor wear at muzzle, a few minor nicks & scratches and faint rub mark from forend. Receiver retains all of its orig case hardened finish, with most of the protective lacquer, with some minor chipping of lacquer on bottom and sharp edges. There is a small spot of surface rust on top tang behind safety. The custom stock is sound with sharp checkering a few minor handling marks and retains virtually all of its fine custom hand rubbed finish. Forend is sound, with sharp checkering a few minor nicks & handling marks, some crazing in its orig finish.
