*PAIR OF PERAZZI SC3 GAME GUNS WITH CASE. SN 116694/116695. Cal. 12 Ga. 2-3/4 Chambers. 28-3/8″ Mono-block open-sided barrels with raised checkered ventilated ribs are stamped “Perazzi BRESCIA MADE IN ITALY” on left ejector bosses. Nos “1” and “2” are inlaid in gold toward rear of ribs, for each gun, respectively. Bbls are stamped with Italian nitro proofs for 2-3/4″ chambers. Importers stamp “BSA NY” is on bottom flats, along with SN and grade “SC3”. Actions feature automatic safeties (S inlaid in gold), and removable lock and trigger mechanisms, with non-selective triggers, and V mainsprings. “1” and “2” are inlaid in gold on top levers. Actions are engraved with finely executed bulino game scene, with shaded open scroll accents. Right sides depict flushing quail, lefts a woodcock flying over meadow, and bottoms have a duck settling into marsh. Engravers signature “Campana” is on action at right side of trigger groups. Round knob buttstocks measure 13-13/16″ over black Perazzi pads, and have 22 LPI point pattern checkering with line border. Gold ovals engraved “JEN” are on toe lines. Gun no. “1” has intricately marbled and full stump figured European walnut. Gun no. “2” has dark broadly marbled walnut with little figure. Wood of forends match buttstocks well. Forends have Deeley releases, with checkering and engraving to match balance of guns. Gun no. “1”: Bore diameter: top -.725, bottom -.724. Bore restrictions: top -.018, bottom -.027. Wall thickness: top -.035, bottom -.032. Drop at heel: 2-7/16″, drop at comb: 1-5/8″. Weight: 7 lbs. 1 oz, LOP 13-13/16″. Gun no. “2”: Bore diameter: top -.724, bottom -.724. Bore restrictions: top -.015, bottom -.028. Wall thickness: top -.034, bottom -.035. Drop at heel: 2-7/16″, drop at comb: 1-5/8″. Weight: 7 lbs. 2 oz, LOP 13-13/16″. Guns are considerably cast on. ABS two-gun case has 3 combination locks. Interior is lined with wine colored velvet, with partition to separate guns, with one gray velveteen gun cover inside. CONDITION: Excellent. Bbls retain nearly all of their original blue, with a few minor marks from use. There is an area about 14″ from muzzles on both sets of bbls on rib showing wear from guns sitting in rack of shooting vehicle. Actions show nearly all of their coin finish, with lacquer wearing through on bottoms, especially on gun no. “2”. Wood shows virtually all of a rubbed oil finish, with only a very few minor nicks from use, with professionally repaired, almost unnoticeable, crack on right side, from safety button to rear of trigger guard bow, on gun no. “1”.
