*RARE WALTHER P-38 “0” SERIES HIDDEN EXTRACTOR SUB VARIATION ONE. SN 0488. Cal. 9mm. 4-3/4″ bbl. Walther banner and “P38” on left receiver next to three digit SN with “0” prefix. Hidden extractor and rectangular firing pin. Eagle/359 on all parts. Fitted with Black checkered composition grips. Proper “0” series magazine. This is the first sub-variation of the first Walther P-38 variation to be issued to the German military. CONDITION: Very fine. Retaining about 97% orig blue. All numbered parts are matching except for the magazine which retains about 98% of orig blue. Grips are very fine with sharp checkering. Bore is sharp and bright.
