*OUTSTANDING L.C. SMITH FIELD GRADE SIDE-BY-SIDE SHOTGUN. SN FWS11297. Cal. 20 ga. 26″ bbls with raised, tapered, matted rib, dual ivory sighting beads, 2-3/4″ chambers, IMP-CYL / IMP-MOD chokes, dbl triggers & extractors. Top of right bbl marked “L.C. SMITH FIELD GRADE”. Standard field grade receiver. Mounted with nicely figured feather grain walnut with checkered pistol grip, hard rubber grip cap, serrated hard rubber butt plate, checkered splinter forend. Bore diameter: left -.615, right -.615. Bore restrictions: left -.022, right -.008. Wall thickness: left -.035, right -.034. Drop at heel: 2-3/8″, drop at comb: 1-3/8″. Weight: 6 lbs. 11 oz. LOP 14″. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Bbls retain 97-98% orig blue with some very minor muzzle wear, 2 small areas of flaked finish on right bbl in chamber area, & a couple of minor insignificant handling marks. Receiver has 95-97% bright orig case colors, slightly fading across bottom of receiver. Trigger guard has nearly all of its fine orig blue. Stock is sound, with a couple of light handling marks & a few minor scrapes near toe, retaining most of a fine professionally cleaned & freshened finish. Forend is solid with a couple of minor handling marks & a dent to a couple of points in checkering; retains nearly all of a fine professionally cleaned & freshened finish. Mechanics are crisp with automatic safety & bright shiny bores.
