Standard unmarked receiver mounted with select straight grain walnut, with checkered pistol grip, checkered butt & checkered beavertail forend. 1ST SET: Bore diameter: left -.670, right -.670. Bore restrictions: left -.025, right -.006. Wall thickness: left -.024, right -.021. Drop at heel: 2-3/8″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 6 lbs. 12 oz. LOP 14″. 2ND SET: Bore diameter: left -.670, right -.670. Bore restrictions: left -.012, right -.006. Wall thickness: left -.019, right -.023. Drop at heel: 2-3/8″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 6 lbs. 12 oz. LOP 14″. Accompanied by 2-bbl leg-of-mutton case. CONDITION: Very good & well experienced. 1st set of bbls retain 60-70% orig blue with considerable thinning & spots of oxidation at muzzle. 2nd set of bbls has 80-85% orig blue with muzzle wear & thinning from carrying in chamber area, mixed with some fine brown patina spotting. Receiver has 65-70% orig blue, worn to silver patina across bottom mixed with fine oxidation spots. Trigger guard has brown patina, worn to silver in grip area. Stock is sound & numbered to gun, with characteristic nicks, dings & hunting marks and carries a fine hand-worn patina. Forend is solid & numbered to gun, with numerous nicks & hunting marks, carrying a fine hand-worn patina. Mechanics are crisp with strong ejectors, automatic safety, and shiny bores in both sets of bbls. Leather case shows equal experience with one retainer for handle torn, missing carrying strap, tattered hinge for lid & replaced closure strap. 4-33487 BDT119 (4,000-6,000)
