Cal. 12 ga. 1ST SET: 28″ bbls with tapered, matted, concave rib with silver center & red Bradley front sighting beads, 2-3/4″ chambers, WS1 / WS2 chokes; left side bbl marked “MODEL 21 – WINCHESTER / – TRADE MARK – / 12 GAUGE 2-3/4”. 2ND SET: 30″ bbls with tapered, matted, concave rib with sgl silver sighting bead, 2-3/4″ chambers, FULL / FULL chokes; left side bbl marked “MODEL 21 – WINCHESTER / – TRADE MARK – / 12 GAUGE 2-3/4”. Sgl selective trigger & ejectors. Standard receiver with “TRAP” marked above trigger plate screw. Mounted with nicely figured walnut, checkered straight grip, Winchester solid red recoil pad & diamond checkered beavertail forend. 1ST SET: Bore diameter: left -.733, right -.733. Bore restrictions: left -.009, right -(.010). Wall thickness: left -.034, right -.025. Drop at heel: 2″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 7 lbs. 10 oz. LOP 14-1/4″. 2ND SET: Bore diameter: left -.730, right -.731. Bore restrictions: left -.034, right -.033. Wall thickness: left -.025, right -.031. Drop at heel: 2″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 7 lbs. 12 oz. LOP 14-1/4″. Accompanied by vintage rectangular leather case. CONDITION: Fine. 1st set of bbls retains 95-98% orig blue with just a few minor scuffs & scratches; 2nd set retains 95-98% orig blue with some slight muzzle wear, a few minor scuffs & a couple of insignificant spots of surface oxidation. Receiver retains 85-90% orig blue, with flaked trigger guard to dark gray & brown patina; slight amount of thinning to frame at carrying point at bottom of receiver. Stock is sound & numbered to gun, with a few minor nicks, scrapes, scratches & hairline crack behind top tang; has about 90% orig finish with some flaking on sharp edges. Forend is sound & numbered to gun with usual nicks & dings, retaining most of its factory finish. Mechanics are crisp with non-automatic safety; strong ejectors & shiny bores on both sets of bbls. Case is solid; shows considerable scuffing but has intact straps & handle; embossed shield on one side with crown over “K.N.”. 4-37239 BDT117 (5,000-7,000)
